What's in the Digital Room right now?

Time of Dreams: Japan, visitors enter a multi-sensory introduction to the centuries-spanning aesthetics of Japanese art; in the first stop, the Digital Room, selected references—from yōkai lore and wamon patterns to the form sensibility of tōgei and the “floating world” of ukiyo-e—come together through interactive media. A chronological flow traces practices across eras, while touch-based interfaces and algorithmic compositions turn tradition from something observed into something experienced.
